WAs given an IJ .22 pistol, a sort-of-copy of Colt's Woodsman. This one was somewhat worse for wear, I don't understand how people can do this to ANY item, whether a tool, firearm, or whatever.

Looks like you done a good job on it Charley! And I know what your talking about . I borrowed my brother inlaw's muzzleloader last year in one last attempt to fill my deer tag here in Mo. I couldn't believe the shape it was in the inside of the barrel was pitted the outside was covered in rust and it it was only a couple years old. I dont get people either.
