Won't be hunting doves 'til labor day weekend, I guess. Will pull the popup to the lease, and set up camp, then will look for doves around the waterholes that evening. Some there shoot doves, others just concentrate on watching whitetails and drooling until deer season.
Did get invited on a fancy pants dove shoot up near Abilene first part of October. A vendor is taking five of us, all food, drink, and lodging furnished!
