I am very intrested in the ruger vaquero in 357 mag. Primarily for a target and plinking gun. However I also wanted to do so short range deer hunting with it. I would appreciate any more testimonials and info on the gun and good factory hunting (357) and target loads(38 special). I have heard many people complain about the vaquero's accuracy, does anyone have a different experience? Should I be looking at the beretta stampede instead of the ruger? Will going with the 5 and 1/2 barrel length over the 4.75 make much of a difference? I think the smaller one is more asteticly pleasing and feels better in my hand. Any info is appreciated thanks
