spent a few days west of Port Angelas, looking for bears, ran accross one scat pile. any advise for bear on the olympic Penn.? thanks.

The southern part of the pennisula can be good. Try the Wynochee lake are noth of Monte. South of Highway 12 in the Brooklyn area and Minot Peak can be good too. I have seen quite a few bear in those areas over the years.

Don't forget the cranberry bogs above Sequim before you get to Greywolf trail. There is usually one or two hanging around there.
