I worked up a .243 Wichester handload that has proven to be extremely accurate in my NEF. I'm cutting single hole groups at 150 yards with it. I'm going to provide those interested with this particular load data... Of course there is no guarantee this load will perform as well for others as it does for me.
All cases are Winchester, which are trimmed to 2.035. The flashholes are deburred, and all cases are sorted by weight.
Sierra 85 grain BTHP bullets, which are also sorted by weight.
37.5 grains of RE-15 powder. Each charge is weighed.
BR-2 primers, which I seat with an RCBS hand priming tool.
Even though I always practice safe handloading techniques, and carefully work my loads up, I strongly recommend that anyone wanting to duplicate this load please do the same.
BTW, greetings from a new member... May you all continue to shoot well, and prosper. :)
