Just wondering why Riot-Gun's thread was closed.
Anyway my reply to it is this, I have loaded shotshells for the 44mag but I personally dont have much use for them out of a revolver. The usefull range is about 12- 15ft. then the paterns really come apart. Good for snakes I guess but not much more. I was using 10 gr. of tightgroup since its a fairly cheap powder and I had some on hand, and the blue shot capsels. I think any powder that you can get to go off will work fine though as your definatly not loading for accuracy.
I think if these were shot out of a smooth bore instead of being spun by rifling they would have better range. Just my opinion.
