Nov. 15th my son Joe leaves for Parris Island. He has gained 20# since his surgery on his wrist and has been cleared by the military. He is working out and getting stronger and should be physically strong when he goes. He will make a fine Marine.

His name is Joe. Please keep him in your prayers until he leaves, that all will go well and after he leaves for his continues good health. Oh! His Mom, sister, and family, including me need all the prayers for peace too. We all support him.

My son just got out after completing his 4 years. He has been to Okinawa, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, East Timor, Australia, Kuwait and Iraq. He completed both Jungle Warfare and Desert Warfare schools. He learned a lot and enjoyed his years of service.

So is he out running every day and getting his body ready to be taxed heavily? I sure he will be happy as heck to give it his all with all he did just to be able to get in. Will say a prayer for him and all those in the service.
