First let me say, this has to be the best forum on shooting and guns I have ever found. The knowledge and comments shared are second to none!
About a month ago, I stopped receiving email notifications to my posts and PMs.
I went to my user CP and checked that the cookies are enabled. I checked my firewall settings, and feel there is no trouble there, as the other forums I subsribe to all notify me when there is an answer to my posts.
I am asking for a bit of help here, as I'm lost at what the problem may be. I had emailed you, but perhaps a spam blocker might have blocked my email to you as I have not received an answer.
Thank you in advance, as I'm sure hoping it's just sumthin simple....
blessings,
Chris~

I looked at your profile and can't see anything wrong with it. Best send a PM to Marshall, Alex, or both.

Gentlemen,
It's nothing wrong with your computers. The issue is on this end, and our dedicated server. The software loaded on our server doesn't suport the sendmail command properly, and this command is what VBulletin uses to generate the notification emails you folks are missing. Alex knows more about the situation than I, and has worked to some degree to amend the issue, but the root problem seems to be with the version of the server software currently running.
I'll send him this thread once again, and see if I can get him to once-again evaluate the sutuation, and give an updated, more informed answer to the delimma.
Thanks for the patience gentlemen! We appreciate each and every one of you!
God Bless,

Edit your profile. Click on 'user cp' at the top of the page after you log in.

I think the Admin has to make the field available, I did a search on the FAQ, I was confused too.

jb,
Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think there is a way to change yourself from "Registered User" to what m141a has on his. I'm not quite sure how his got that way...

Oh... yeah.... I recall something like that coming up in the past, it was odd how he got that. Sorry.... brain fade... not sure that you can do this anymore. It might have been a temporary quirk where the system let people do this.
