Are firearm issues going to be brought up in the thrid and final debate or are we still talking about Iraq, which I feel has been beat to a pulp. The last debate was supposed to be domestic issues and I thought that it may come up for atleast one question, but no, still Iraq. I do my best to get the word out on Kerry's views and history, but it needs addressed in a national forum or else it will fall between the cracks.

I agree Bronc. It would be an interesting debate, that's for sure!

It will take place about 12 miles from where I presently sit - things are really cordoned off for local traffic. Lots of room has been designated for protestors, though.

I doubt seriously if Kerry would ever directly answer a gun control question (he's been avoiding answering ANY question so far - just keeps pontificating about Bush's "big mistake", the Iraqi war. As if he and others didn't vote to allow the President to conduct it!) because everyone could tell immediately he was lying (you could see his lips moving!!) as soon as he tried to respond.

I think Im going to try the Kerry approach to hunting this year. I'll crawl around on my belly with my 12ga to outsmart a deer and play games with them. What a joke! What is this guy? John Rambo Kerry?

Comentator: Senator Kerry, how do you react to sportsmen saying that you are an "anti'gunner" And would you support a new AWB?
Kerry: Well thats easy. Look at how the president is failing in Iraq. I have a plan. Iraq was the wrong war at the wrong time. I was in Vietnam. Bush is a liar. I have three purple hearts.

Guess I'm unAmerican...didn't watch the first two and will miss the 3rd as well. Debates are for those that haven't made up their minds....I have, and watching two guys lie on TV isn't going to change it.

Different country but i see that this is the same problem!!!!

who's the best liar we're gonna vote for?

i'd like to ask a question, did the opinion of american poeple changed so mutch since the iraqi evenments, because i have been really choqued over here by what the media feed us, they tried, the way feel it, to make people here think we are detested in usa (like showing people emptying french wine on the groud etc...),witch i think do not represant the reality, just a minority

i would be interesting for me to know the way people there, has been throw those evenments, and i hope that french and american still get on well no matter what..

Oh trust me I made up my mind the day America was attacked. All I remember thinking to myself was thank God Gore didn't win. But I do watch the debates because when Kerry or Edwards is telling blantant lies to the public it effects the way peolpe vote. Some lies are so unbelievable that it is amazed how ignorant some people are to believe this person. I usually sit there and yell at the TV the entire time that they are dispersing their verbal vomit.

Too much time with Louisiana politics...we don't much mind that both candidates are dishonest, we just have to figure out which one is our kind of crook.

Good question,

I have been away from the forum for awhile but heregoes-

I have nothing against the French people. I feel like most Americans don't either.
You're probably just like me. You want to live your life in peace and know that your family will be safe in the future.

But please don't forget that we were the ones that were attacked. We were the ones that lost almost 3000 people.

I think our president had hoped that all of our allies would come to our aid for once !
That didn't happen. and it didn't happen because of political reasons.

I think it is Chirac that is loathed over here across the big pond and not the French people. If the investigation of the UN over the "oil for food program" leads where we think it will, he may be deep into pay offs from Iraq. Usually, when something like this happens you can "follow the money" and get the real answers.

One truth I know about all of this is that global terrorism is the big issue, and it effects all of the others

I still eat French Fries!

Anyway, on a hunting note, when GW Bush was Governor, the news cameras tagged along on an opening day dove hunt.
A bird flew over and one of his assistants said shoot.
Well George shot, and it turned out to be a Meadowlark, not a Dove. All preserved for the 5:00 news. His assistant got one of those scowls like he gave Kerry in the first debate.

Glad we could talk

Firearms issues won't be brought up in the debate, because we know who stands for what, right guys???

You got that right, Mike -

Every time J.K. opens his trap on being "pro-gun", I have to almost puke, thinking there are some out there actually gullible enough to believe him.
