im looking for a place where i can hunt fallow and red deer can anybody tell me where i might be able to do so? either on public or on private land.

That is a very wide ranging question. I see you are in SA which I have no knowledge of. Back here in NE Vic we have fallow deer around the place which can only be hunted on Private property of which you will have to find your own access. Red deer are around the Grampians area but I think it is fairly restricted in area and access. In vic you will need a game licence. I know that there are fallow in SA but not sure about locations or access.
Maybe your best bet is to go out with a guide? This will give you both access and a greater chance of bagging a deer. Other than that you will need to do some research of your own and try to get onto properties in deer areas. Not always easy but you could luck upon a good property.
