Just got back from the range today and finally got to shoot your .41 Mag 265 gr. gc.

My new chonograph, 10' from the barrel, showed the following:

20.5 gr. Lil Gun ave. 1650 fps. with a 1.01" group at 75 yds. This is with a COL of 1.700. And believe it or not I didn't have to mess with the carrier at all to get them to feed. fast or slow, they work like a charm. I got this load from the Hodgdon annual manual (2004). They show 1479 fps. out of a 10" barrel for 20 gr. As always, this load is good in my gun but everyone should work up their own loads. Mine is only for information only!!

Thanks for the good report! That load, with the wide meplat of that bullet should make a deadly woods gun!

Glad they feed nicely through that Marlin, and it sounds like your accuracy is to be envied!
