looking for receipes for loading the 500 have loaded some of them but looking for the one for 500gr hornady jsp.

I use the hodgdon loading info. Make sure you use winchester LR primers or magnum LR primers. I had an issue while using pistol primers recently.

Hornady has data for the 500 gr Jacketed Flat Soft Point bullet.

They list 1300 from an 8 3/8ths Smith. their data is using the winchester Large Pistol primer.

Where are you finding this bullet? I have not seen any that heavy.

The local gun shop ordered them for me. I don't know where they ordered them from.
