I really enjoy shooting accurate rimfire pistols and today I shot my new SIG Trailside target pistol and can safely say this is one of the finest pistols I've ever shot. The grips are incredible and the balance is perfect. I tested it with several brands of ammo at 25 yards off a bench with most 10 shot groups averaging 1 1/2" or less. That may not sound good to you, but I am the world's second worst pistol shooter. This will definitely be going to the range with me on every trip.

So YOUR the guy who's the next better pistol shot than me!

If your Trailside is anything like mine, you will start to have
missfires soon.
The gun was made for premium ammo.
As soon as it gets a little dirty, cheaper ammo will not
chamber correctly, and it won't fire.
I use Winchester Wildcats exclusively, because they are
cheap and seem to be very accurate.
I solved the problem for me by lapping out chamber a little.
Now instead of cleaning after every 100 rounds, I've gone
well over 2000 rounds without cleaning.

Just shot my traiside today for the 1st time...after about 50 round or so, the 1st shot of every new mag would not cylcle correctly. The action did not blowback enough to eject the shell. No misfires, but this happend on every new mag and I had some problems with a new round being picked up by the slide...anyone else have these problems? I am using CCI Blazer ammo...will try something else next time.
