I have a chance to buy a factory new barrel for my SW 39-2 for about $20.
Should I do it?
I bought the gun used and although the gun is in decent shape, I think the barrel is original. I've personally put 1500 rounds through it, not sure about the previous owners.
Serial is A202xxx, I don't want to pay SW $30 to find out when it was made ;)

I have extra parts for all my shooter guns. You never know when you might need them.
If you think you are going to keep this gun, and you want the barrel, why not?
