Looking into a new semi-auto pistol with a .22LR conversion.
Also looking into the two laser assists offered for them.

Any experience opions on either?

Thanks

I have Crimson Trace laser grips on a revolver I keep in my night stand. They work quite nicely, and have an on/off switch on the bottom of the grip, with the activation button on the front of the grip. I think they make a good training aid for point shooting (with the gun unloaded, of course) where I practice drawing/aiming at a spot on the wall, etc., and then hitting the laser to see where I'm actually pointing it. I think it really helps developing your skill this way. It's also I good way to practice trigger control, to see if you're jerking the trigger, or pulling the gun to one side or the other.

I haven't actually used Lasermax lasers, but I have tried them in gun shops. With the Lasermax, when you turn the laser on, they continually pulse on and off, which I don't like as well as with the Crimson Trace which you can trigger when you actually want to use it. Despite this, I still think I might put one in a Glock 30 I have for concealled carry someday when I have enough money I don't know what else to do with.

I have a set of Crimson Trace lazergrips on a Smith snubbie. They've been on it for almost a year and have worked flawlessly.

Sorry, no experience with the others.

Good luck!
