View Full Version : Barrel Band Screws?

So in all of my dealing with getting my Rossi in tip top shape, I noticed that the foreend barrel band screw was stripped enough to keep it from being screwed in properly in the band.

Any body have a band screw they would be willing to give up or know where stuff like this could be found?

In case it matters, my rifle is a 20" Rossi 92 SRC by Interarms.

Thanks,

Patrick

I believe it is part # 16, "forearm tip screw"....
Try calling LSI @ 703-548-4837 to see if they will direct you to their parts supplier. Also, if you request, they will probably send you a tri-fold document titled "Puma Model 92 Rifles/Carbines" that also includes an exploded view diagram with part numbers. Hope this helps....

I've contacted Mike already. I was trying to shop around, is he the only guy around that can help me? Are his prices the best deals I should be able to get?

Thanks,

Patrick,

Sorry, I didn't think that far ahead. As far as I know, Mike at M&M is the only source for Rossi and LSI parts.
Even Steve Young, a gunsmith who specializes is Rossis, has had to go to Mike to get parts.
The only other place you might try is Numrich gun parts. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/
But I didn't see any on their web site the last time I was there.

OK, edited because brain sometimes kicks in after the fact......duh.
Navy Arms: http://www.navyarms.com/ ~and~
EMF: http://www.emf-company.com/ both sell 92s made by the same factory as Rossi.
I don't know if they have parts any less expensive than M&M, but you might give them a try.
