Hello all, I am looking for a good online source to buy a box or two of .416 Rigby. Also, is it ok to ship ammo across state lines, or do I have to find a source in California?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi Andrea---

Midway USA is a very reputable and service oriented source for all kinds of gun related items, like ammo, and guess what---they have 416 Rigby.

I've attached a hyperlink and you should just be able to click it and go to the ammuniation list page:

http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteabrowse/6/690/653***

And yes ammunition CAN be shipped across state lines. I buy ammo from Midway all the time and they are in a different state.

Good Ruck! :)

Thank you for the link Yogi. I found the .416 Rigby, but which would be the best one to buy? The gun will be a Thompson Encore with the .416 Rigby barrel. Bullberry said factory rounds are fine, but to get the normal rounds, not the really high power ones. So after looking at the different rounds Midway has, I have no clue which one that would be. Any Ideas?

Andrea--- They are all 400 grain so it is a fairly even deck. The vital element here is the first four are either "coming soon" or "out of stock" so there really is only a choice of the last two on the page since I believe this is a present and you need to get them very soon if you hope to give it as a gift.

I would therefore go with the Federal premium Cape Shok 400 grain Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer..... Sledgehammer is an impressive terminology in rounds, don't ya think?.

Unless he is going to use them for HUNTING only, then go with the second of the two remaining and that is the "partition" one.

But I think the Sledgehammers would proabbly score the biggest hit with your husband.

Hope that helps,
