I am going to start carring my Beretta 96g Elite 2, I dont like the galco high ride for concelead. What might be a better holtster, copline, inside belt, paddle? Should I invest in a shoulder rig? Whats a good brand? thanks for the help.
I've been through so many styles and namebrands, and can say, my latest holster for CCW was a Allessi Hard Talon IWB.
Quality at an affordable price.

Does any one use a shoulder rig and how well does that work? Are they worth the $150?

Shoulder rigs are very limiting, i.e., you have to wear a jacket all the time, unless you're LE. They are also hot because they do not allow ventilation where the staps contact your body, and you're wearing a jacket/coat. IMO, an IWB (Inside Waist Band) or Paddle/Pancake OWB are the way to go. I mostly use an IWB. The only drawback to the IWB is that you must buy your pants one size up from your normal waist size, unless you like feeling constricted, but there is virtually no way that the holster/weapon will be exposed while bending over, if you wear a sweater, untucked or banded polo shirt or an untucked T shirt. If you don't care for the untucked look, Galco and other makers make a tuckable IWB, which is almost as fast to access as the former. I've been carrying for 13 years, in FL, and this is what works for me.
