i accidently put an empty 308 shell in my 3006 woodsmaster and now i cant get the bolt to move in eather direction help deer season starts in a week.

Dead sure it's an empty .308?...don't try thios with a loaded round.

Run a cleaning rod doen from the muzzle, turn the gun upside down, press the cleaning rod handle to the floor, push the rifle down while pulling back on the bolt. DON'T BEAT ON IT!...strong downward pressure is OK, but if you break the rod you are in for more problems.

IF this doen't do it, you'll need a 'smith.
