I have a puma m92 black wood with 20 in. barrel and a brass receiver and butt plate. And im wondering if the receiver is really brass or if its just plated. This would make a big difference in the loads I use in it. I would like to use it to hunt but I want to be safe. Please help.......timmit

Do the magnet tests...if it sticks, it';s barss plated...if it doesn't stick, then its either soild brass or plated non-steel alloy.
