I remember talking to a fellow at the gun club about his bison hunt south of Spokane. He booked his hunt during last winter's sportsman's show. It would be wonderful if I could recall who gave me this information but, alas. old timer's disease is having its way. Does anyone know where this ranch is or if the bison hunting is still conducted? I have an old friend whose health requires a ranch type hunt and I would sure like to book this for him as a Christmas present. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide. Ed

I believe that you might be talking about four mound prairie bison ranch outside of Spokane. The PH# is 509-466-5763
The owner is Randy Durheim

There is also an exotic hunting ranch southwest of Cheney. The name alludes me at the moment. You might check a sporting goods store in that area.

Dean, I think that you've hit on the place. I wish one of us could remember the name.
mkerly1, thanks for the tip. My great good friend seems to be surviving a major cancer scare but doesn't get around as he used to after surgery and chemotherapy. I'll be giving these people a call and try to get something going for a fine friend.
Thanks, Ed

The old bush pilot, 'Bud' Stangel, has over 750 bison on his ranch about 3 miles north of Enterprise, Oregon. On higway 3. I'm sure he could accomodate almost anything you might want to arrange.
