I'm ready to make up loads to firelap a S&W 586 (.357 L frame). I have read the Tech Manual but would appreciate an approximate starting load using Beartooth lapping bullets and Red Dot or 700x or Win. 231. I'm guessing the around 2 grains with either of these would be in the correct range?

I understand that the loads have to be taylored to the particular barrel but I assume someone has experience with a similar revolver.

I've used around 2 grains of Bullseye for my .357 lapping loads, that is probably a good place to start with the 700x.
