Well, I've been an active reader of this site for a couple of years now........I suppose it is about time I got involved. I just want you folks to know that I read the posts on this site with interest and have gained a good deal of knowledge from the group. Thank you.

My question is what is a fair price for Ruger marked 20 round magazines for the Mini 14. Not the LEO marked ones, but the pre-ban magazines.

Whatever the market will bear. With the expiration of the AWB though, if you can find some marked LE only, I believe you are legal to own them. I have 5 Ruger hi caps that I bought in the early 80's, but it was Ruger that restricted the sale to only LE later that decade. When the AWB came into effect in '94, it put the imprimatur of Federal Law on Ruger's voluntary ban, but now that the Federal restrictions have been lifted, if you can find an LE hi cap for sale, buy it. If you can't find Ruger factory hi caps, PMI are the next best thing. All the others that I tried, KKK, USA and Eagle, didn't perform very well, giving stoppages in over 8 in 10 magazines that were loaded to full capacity.

Unless someone just wants one marked LE the 10 rounders now cost more than 20, 30, 40 rounders.
