I bought a remington 700 ss in 7mm rsaum this week. I put an old four power leupold scope on it that I had lying around. Yesterday I broke the barrel in using the one shot clean down to bare metal method for ten shots. I sighted it in today at 100 yards and put three shots touching in two different groups. I was shooting factory loads with 160 gr. nosler partitions. These loads seemed pretty hot. I'm planning on eventually loading for this rifle, and I thought I would try 140 gr. partitions or the nosler accubond bullets. I have'nt handled any new rifles in a long time and I am really pleased with this new remington.
