Hello all,

I just wanted to pass along a recent experience I had with Chapman Mfg. I bought their "deluxe" screwdriver kit from Brownells a few weeks ago and the first time I used the #90 standard bit it broke. I e-mailed Chapman Mfg. (www.chapmanmfg.com) and told them about the broken bit. They returned my e-mail the very next day and 3 days later a free replacement bit arrived in the mail, no questions asked. What great service!

I haven't had any other problems with any of the other bits. Maybe a weak one snuck by QC, but they fixed the problem immediately. I'll buy their tools again.

Have had their deluxe set for many years now. Somewhere along the road, also acquired their allen head set in a separate pouch to go along with it. Have just about worn out the detent ball in the handle shaft from so many years of use.

If I have to get another, it will be another Chapman.

I had the exact same problem this weekend. A new kit, used the #96 bit and it broke. I emailed them saturday but haven't heard back yet.
