I was wondering about the model 92 rossi in 454 casull how come when you go to rossi's website that I cannot find it listed in the rifle section. Is this gun strictly a conversion handle by a independant company . Or is this a mass production modell by Rossi . I hope this isnt redundant question but the only place I can find them is from legacy arms on the net . Please someone fill me in with some info on where I can pick one up I would love to own this rifle as a combo with my 454 casull revolver RB. Thanks Oh and by the way is this offered in stainless?or blued?

Rossi's Model 92 is exclusively imported to the US by Legacy Sports International www.legacysports.com They are offered in both blued/stainless or standard/fiber optic sights. If you scroll down and click on the "order online" button, you will be directed to the Davidson's distributor website. From there, you can have it shipped to a local dealer for transfer.
It's getting almost too easy.

PRUHDLR,
Question for you how do you suppose I get that 16" barrel when they only make 24 and 20 inch barrels either octagon24" or round20"?

Go here - http://www.galleryofguns.com/gungallery/showcase_specials/display_subentry.asp?i=2&parent_id=14 - and scroll toward the bottom. You'll see the 16" SS model.

Looks like this is or was a limited edition. I have 4 of these Puma, Rossi, Legacy What ever. For the money I think they are a good buy. My 454 is a 1 incher with the help of a 5X bushnell. 480 is a 1 incher at 50 yds.open sight. I can't see any further any more. I hate the look of the off set B-Square mount but so far it works just fine. The 480 will get the same thing . The 44 and 45lc are just dang fun. I have never seen 16" stainless

I origionally got the 20" then I took my neighbors cuttin' torch and ---------- No really !! Got it about 5 months ago from my local gunshop. They special ordered it for me from Davidsons. It wasn't hard to get. I did most of the footwork. The gunshop didn't believe that the gun even existed. Gunshops don't know as much as most of them like to think that they know. Be persistant -make some phone calls. They're out there. I highly reccommend the weapon. Have put a bunch of full power loads through mine. It loves the bigger bullets. Hardcast bullets is the only ones that I have tried. Cast Bullet Performance LBT's. 335 and 360 grainers. If you can find one,get the 16" stainless. Fiber optic sights come on it also. I can actually see them.----- GOOD SHOOTIN'---pruhdlr

Stan, On the end of the box(i keep all my boxends)is written:: (LSI) PUM68016; Cal..454 CSL; 16"; SS w/ HVISZ ;STS; M92 PUMA. If my memory is correct, the PUM68016 is LSI's stock number. ---- This weapon carries like the Win and Marlin Trappers --- BUT---you know that you have in your hands,in a very short, very light little gun, over 16,000+ ft lbs of energy. Pick up this weapon and head out into whatever woods that you want to go. From Fla. to Alaska or anywhere in between. Keep your shots inside the range that this weapon was intended to be used and the animal(any animal) will be absolutely HAMMERED. When I was a guide in Maine I saw 1000+lb moose and pretty large black bear fall to this weapon.(but 20"bbl) I had a sport shoot completely through a 1000+ lb. moose with a heavy hardcast bullet. The shot broke the shoulder going in and completely shattered the shoulder coming out. ----- GOOD SHOOTIN'--pruhdlr
