Hey guys I just got a new 1894C and I think I just screwed up :( I took the lever of and removed the bolt to clean it from the breech and to just fondle it before it got wrapped and put under the tree. I went to put it back together and did not place the lever into the bolt properly and the action was cylcled and now I cannot get it back together  I need to know how to get it back together or do I just take it to a gunmisth. Thanks for the help. Scott

Is the bolt all the way ahead and you can't get the lever in? The locking bolt probably fell into it's notch in the bolt. Turn the rifle right side up and if you hear a chunk as it falls down, try pushing the bolt back with your thumb. Get it back an inch or so and put the lever back in.
If that doesn't work, look for the bottom of the locking bolt about a 1/4" ahead of the trigger. If it's down, it's almost flush with the bottom of the receiver. If it's up, and a couple of taps with your hand on the top of the receiver don't drop it, make a short hook, reach up between the trigger and locking bolt and pull it down.
If the bolt still won't move with thumb pressure on it's side, you'll need something long and thin enough to reach through the lever opening so you can pry on the slot at the front of the bolt.
Bye
