Howdy,
I have purchased a Brand New TTN International 1897 pump shotgun. ( A good steel clone of the 1897 Winchester)

Question, anyone else purchase one?

I received a box, a shotgun and a 4 sheet instruction manual.

What accessories should come with the shotgun? It has a removable choke, but nothing advising what brand choke is used, Also I did Not get a tube wrench with the shotgun.

Any Ideas what I should have gotten?

Thanks Muchly..

Howdy,

I got exactly what you got....nothing!!!! Looks like a modified choke tube, and I think (but I'm not sure yet) that a Mossberg choke tube will fit it. Mine is pretty ****ed tight, and I'm gonna lighten the hammer spring and do a little polishing to see if I can loosen it up a bit. Look up Maurader's site. He's got a ton of good info on old irons.

Other than that the fit and finish is acceptable considering what I paid for the gun. I'd sure like to have the real thing but to get one in this condition would be darned expensive. It's just a plinker anyway, if I want a serious shotgun I'll grab my 870.
