Running my first GC bullets through my trusty 450 sizer. Useing Lyman Alox NRA Formula. How long will the sized and lubed bullets keep in a sealed tupper ware container before the lube is no good? At some point it must get crumblely and just fall off when you go to load them. I was just thinking that useing one of the lubes that require a heater might be a better way to go since once it hardens it's always good.

I make my own bullet lubes. My homemade Alox lube seems to have a very long shelf life. I recently did some inventory of sized and lubed bullets. I found some that I lubed 15 years ago, and they were in excellent condition. The lube appeared to be just as pliable as new. Storage is the key, I keep them carefully arranged on their bases in covered containers. High temperature should be avoided.
