Anyone used or know of Maverikaire aka Alaska Dream Quest out of Kotzebue ?? Have seen the website ..
Know someone who has used them on quite a few trips and really likes them ..
We are planning a drop hunt in a few years and I like more than one reference even though he is a close friend ..

I have not used Mavrik, as I've hunted out of Dillingham and Iliamna the past three years. I think they lost a pilot and 2-3 passengers in a crash this past fall, you may want to ask them about that - if I recall, they were flying and encountered smoke form the fires last year, pilot flew lower to try to get under the smoke, hit treetops and went down.

If you access the Alaska Hunting Forum there's a gent named Alex Cena who used them last year, and he drafted a pretty detailed story about his trip.
