I have a 1970's vintage Ruger 44 Mag. Carbine that I purchased new. I am in need of a "Lifter Assembly". Of course Ruger no longer has any parts. Neither do Jack First nor Numrich. K.D. Wilhit has a couple of these, but he wants $150 for one. He claims the collectors are paying that. I'm just not willing to spend that much on a 30 something year old hunting rifle/plinker. I'd like to get a couple of more years out of this rifle as my son would like to us it for an other year or so before we get him something bigger. (He took his first deer, a buck, with it this year...2 hours into his first hunt carring a rifle.)
I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
