Fixing an abused Delta Elite and looking for factory grips.

I'm not familiar with the Delta Elite, but can it use the same stocks as a regular 1911?

The Delta Elite I had wore a black rubber front wrap around grip, leaving the backstrap safety exposed. Had a triangle inlet on the side. I replaced it with Cocobola as fast as I could. Don't remember what I did with the originals.

I would suspect you could find a set on eBay, GunBroker, GunsAmerica or Auction Arms.

I've still got the original grips for my Delta Elite. One of the little enameled icon things is missing though. I put Hogue Rubber grips on mine and never looked back.

go with the Hogue Rubber grips ,they will work fine

There is a website floating around somewhere that sells just the Delta inserts. You could counter-sink them in any grip to have a true custom set. I see them on ebay from time to time.

Those may be easier to come by than the entire grip.
