Been quite a few years, but "Handloader" did a bit about trimming cases necks to excessivly short amounts...accuracy only strated to be poor when the cases were (1) REALLY short or (2) used in mixed length lots.
One thing to do is to measure the actual length of that chamber...most are cut a bit longer than the .2.015" max...some quite a bit longer. May be trimming for no good reason.
Generally, I try to trim to a unifom length...but as I hate spenind my time trimming, will usually select the shortest case of the lot and just trim all of them to that length. So I may use 2.009" for one lot's trim...next lot may get 2.010...and so on. So long as they are all even and shorter than the max. OAL (or the known length of that pareticular chamber) I don't sweat the exact length.
I'd not worry about the .0005" variation...but if it bothers you, then group the cases into two groups, keeping the short ones segreagated until they grow up.
