I have used Silver Bear in my Makarov, and Wolf in my SKS. They functioned flawlessy and were reasonably accurate considering the price. I have use S&B shotgun ammo, but not rifle ammo. The only bad thing I can say about the Russian ammo is that some manufactures, such as Olympic Arms, recommends against using it. The varnish coating on the cases vaporizes when the bullet is fired and plugs up the chamber and gas ports. I guess the moral of the story is this: If you have a cheap gun, go ahead and use cheap ammo; otherwise, use good ammo.
