Hi guys, Im back here after an extended vacation.
I picked up a really nice (I think, anyway) pistol, a fnp-9.
These are sort of medium large autos with 16+1 capacity and a 4" barrell. $350 and 3 high capacity mags to boot!

Anyway, it comes at a price; There aint crap as far as CCW holsters for these. None of the major makers list these guns. I want a paddle or pancake rig for occasional carry use, as I mostly will be carrying my .380 sigma or J-frame.

It looks to be the size of a sig P229, So Im going to take a chance on getting a pancake or paddle for one of those and see if it fits.
Anyone have any info regarding holster fit, or sources??
Im not going to pay $200 for a custom job; if I dont find an option, this'll become an under the seat gun for my truck.
thanks!
mike

A nearby gun store has one of these [pro-9] in his case. it has a great trigger, the safety can be applied hammer cocked or down, and has the interchangable backstraps like the Walther P99.

I've been eyeing it up, but that would make my 4th 9mm:rolleyes: when it seem lately all I've been shooting is my Hi-power and XD.

Please keep us informed as to how it shoots and handles...you might twist my arm:p

about 250 rounds of junk through it so far. one burp on the 1st mag, one on the 2nd, and nothing since then. The first 50 were CCI Blazers, so Im not suprised.
As Ive only been shooting very small pistols for the last few years, it feels like Im shooting blanks, as far as recoil. Sights seem to be dead on.
I was thisclose to getting a XD 40, but with the prices of ammo, I can really get in a lot of cheap practice.
