I just ran across the Ruger web ad for this this gun. I didn't look for the date. Is any one shooting it and for what?
I'm working down the caliber range in pistols from .44 BH. I' love it but it is a true cannon. I was toying w/ the single six idea in .22 but was thinking of a little more umph. I saw this and started xreferencing to the Model 1894CB in 32 H&R Magnum. Looks as though the Ruger will fire the .32-20 and the .32wcf( I know I saw this but now I can't find it) Am I on track with that??
Anyone know about the Marlin being able to fire/feed the smaller rounds??

I have a Ruger buckeye Special that is dual cylinder, .32 Magnum and .32-20. You cannot fire the .32 Mag, in the .32-20 cylinder. These were a limited run for Buckeye Sports Supply several years ago.

I also have a SSX Bisley in .32 Mag. This is the easiest gun to hit with i have ever shot. A real confidence builder.

I am anxiously awaiting for the Marlin .32 Magnum rifles to be available to the general public. Right now they are allocated to the high volume dealers. The .32 Mag. Marlin should be a slow seller after the 1500 or so interested Cowboy shooters get theirs. then this small game hunter will get his!

I have not yet seen a Marlin .32 Magnum but I am certain it will not feed a .32-20. Marlin is chambering another 1894 Limited this year in .32-20. The way I understand it the new rifle differs from my .32-20CL only in that it has a checkered stock.

The .32 Magnum rifle will be loaded from the magazine tube like a .22lr and like the older Marlin .32CF/RF rifles. The 1894 CL rifles in .32-20 load through a loading gate in the reciever.

I live in sheep and goat country. For us the Coyote, racoon and fox are a serious problem. We have had several years of rabbies problems and skunks seen in daylight are considered a problem. We have quite a few porcupine and while they dont eat every thing they are a problem.
After the above the very real problem of feral dogs and cats are a growing problem. My wife and I have both been attacked and recieved a few stiches from dogs. My neihbor had the pleasure of taking the full series of rabies shots due an encounter with a pretty little kitty. These shots are not quite as awful as they used to be but they are painful enough and expensive. She looks at stray cats from a different perspective now. Any quail hunter does to.

For what it's worth, the surplus Russian 1895 Nagant, a 7 shot double action revolver, shoots the H&R 32 Mag cartridge. Century Arms and SOG have them in excellent/like new condition for $80-90 complete with a flap holster and accs. Makes a great tool box or behind the seat gun for pickup trucks or 4-wheelers in the rurals. Good luck.

In the original advertising for the Single-Six in .32 H&R, Ruger showed the use of the .32 S&W and .32 S&W Long, not the .32-20.
I bought one of the first Ruger .32s in my city...guybought it, fired 25 rounds of .32 S&W in it, and traded it in. I bought it for the princely sum of $125 (ok, it was a few years ago!)
It is my favorite single action, and one of my favorite utility handgun calibers.

The Ruger Black Hawk that has two cylinders one for .32 mag and one for the .32-20 will take both rounds.
The Single Six Magnum will only take the .32 Mag round(along with the corresponding S&W long and short).
The .32-20 is actually a bottlenecked round, you may be able to get the S&W rounds to go off in the .32-20 but the cases split and this is niether safe nor good for the gun.

My wife was looking over my shoulder and saw a pic of the revolver and said "Cool" The little .32 from brazil she has is a POS. Personaly I don't think it's that attactive but if it's effective and she likes it...

Try "Southern Ohio Guns". I pay the $5 extra for handpick and request "like new with wooden grips". I prefer the wooden grips over plastic. You can find some great info online by searching up 1895 Nagant. Good luck.

I bought a Single Six in .32 cal for my wife who loves to shoot my old .22 cal Single Six. She decided that she preferred the .22 so I started handloading for the .32 mag with bullets from 85 to 118 gr. My SS likes the 118 gr LRNFPs over 5 gr Unique. Pleasant to shoot and accurate. I'd like the trigger to be a little smoother and a touch lighter on the pull but overall it's a great gun.

I saw that they offer 32.acp replacement cylinders for this revolver. Have you fired 32H&R through the stock cylinder?
I worry about the pressure. If this is safe I am going to have to get one.
