S&W500mag vs. Moose
Good evening dear hunting- and weaponfriends.
I was sitting at home in front of the TV, when a police called and told me that a moose had been run over by a snow scooter. I hurry into my hunting-clothes and goes to the scene of the accident. There I meet two huntingfriends with lamps and dogs. The snowdepth was about 60 cm, so we plod through the snow. Suddenly there was a man standing there, whose face was white of fear, he had seen the grim reaper. His snow scooter had a broken hood and some other miner damages. And he tells that moose was injured in the right rear leg, it was completely off. After a while we saw the injured moose and I shoot it with my S&W500mag, loaded with Sierra 400 gr, JSP. I fire two fast headshots and the moose had met his judgment day… After the shoots my huntingfriends ask what I shoot with. I show them “Mr Judge” Smith&Wesson 500 mag revolvern and they heave a deep sigh that there is such a dominant revolver. Another task is completed with great ease. Thank you S&W.

I´m sending a picture

What can we learn from all this?

- Is this the ultimate revolver
- Moose vs. snow scooter = easy death
- It´s better to drive slow and safe
- If you gonna make a hole make sure you
you´re making a big one

Good hunting / Andreas

Did the round actually remove the head or was it removed by some other method? Looks like a clean cut.

Hi
I have to remove the head, then we should move the mosse to the butcher, but bullets had almost removed the head.

I could not take the pic same night, it was to dark. So I take them next day.

It´s a Weimaraner (the dog). Do you have one?
Here in my country they call the "Ghost dog". I hunt with it, everything from deer to birds, and looks for injured animals, like this moose.
