I was just looking for a place to do some shooting without going to a formal range. I would like to be able to set up some targets that will be a bit more fun to shoot at than a paper target. I live in Kitsap County.

Check out Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club. They're not restrictive and dues are reasonable. I can't recall the number but it is in the phonebook. Other than that, be CAREFUL! Much of the area it is not legal to shoot and many of the areas where it is legal are not safe. Too much vegetation to obscure what is beyond your target. Ed

Thanks for the tip. I am already a member of the Poulsbo Sportsman Club. It's a pretty nice range but you can't set up things like plastic bottles of water or clay birds to shoot at with handguns. It's just paper targets.

I know about the Poulsbo club. They have a nice range and it is well run but you should still check out Kitsap Rifle & Revolver Club as you can use any safe target. Safety is the primary rule and Kitsap is a very well run range. Ed
