Do any of you 9422 owners have scopes on your rifles? I just got a 9422 Legacy and I purchased a Leopold 2X7 for it. I purchased some Millett med height mounts and the scope comes in contact with the rear sight. I can't find any higher mounts that are not "cheapies." The .22cal/airgun mounts when tightened put the scope on a different line of sight than that of the barrel. The tall "Weaver" style would be perfect but the width of the mounts are too wide. Is there another manufacturer makes mounts that would work?

Millet makes a "high" .22 caliber scope ring.
Natchez shooter's supply (www.Natchezss.com) has them #MITP00005 for $18.29, in smooth blue. #MITP00007 for $25.06 in nickel, and #MITP00705 for $18.29 in matte.

Mine is on with Weaver tip-off rings, but maybe the objective lens on mine is smaller than yours. It just barely clears the rear sight when in its lowest position.

What do you mean about the ".22cal/airgun mounts ...different line of sight...the barrel."?
I've used those on other rifles with no problems. even cheap "no-brand" ones.

The .22/airgun mounts only tighten up from one side and when you get it secured to the gun the scope is over to the left side. (or right if you put them on the other way) It isn't very far to the side but I think it would only be good for the particular distance that you have zeroed in at since it isn't directly above the line of the bore.

Thanks for the link. I looked at the Millet site and didn't see any high mounts, except for the Weaver style. I was hoping I wasn't going to have to get a different scope.

The Weaver T-O-10 base has cross-slots for Weaver style rings. This base is made especially for the 94-22, and solves some eye releif problems as well by moving the scope forward if desired. It is also grooved for tip off-style rings.... HTH
