Lil Gun is too slow for the .32 H&R with any bullet weight. It works, but you will not get optimum velocity with it. Same for 296/H-110. Try 4.1 Universal Clays, 7.0 AA-7, 4.3 Unique. If you are using a strong action like S&W Model 16, Ruger Blackhawk, Ruger SP-101, you can go as much as 15-20% heavier with these, but work up from these loads and only use StarLine brass! If using these as written, then Federal brass is OK.

800X very good in .32H&R. 115gr would be 4.5grs. 100gr takes 5grs. 85gr Hornady great with 5.5grs.

Just for the record, I never said don't use 'Lil Gun, just that it is too slow for the cartridge. This isn't a safety issue, at least not in the overpressure sense. The slower the powder, the more likely to get a squib and stick a bullet.

I also didn't say it wouldn't work, it will. If you are happy with using 2.9 cents worth of powder (per shot) to do what 1.16 cents worth will do as well or better, then, by all means do it! You wont catch any commercial loader, or the major manufacturers using a powder too slow for the application, it's a matter of economics.
