very BAD for the turkeys, indeed!!! :p

I gotta laugh at the magazine articles on 3 1/2" chambered, full camoed, SCOPED!, "turkey guns."

Now, boys, if you want one... by all means, get one! I got a lot of rifles I don't need either :D

Anyway, my plain-jane 870, with 2 3/4" chambers no less, firing some sort of nondescript reload (I think it's a ounce and a quarter of number 8), is 2 for 2 on turkeys so far.

The first time I got a turkey with it, I was actually wearing white tennis shoes, because I forgot to take my boots hunting, I kid you not! Just gotta sit still....

I do wear camo from head to toe, but with the exception of my face mask, it's all army surplus woodland green. Fits in pretty well with the spring vegetation here.

Looks like the same bird TPV wingshot and dropped it on your truck toolbox, doesn't it? :D

I've seen that bird!!

I met a man last week that owns a ranch in East Texas. In conjunction with the state, they have introduced the Eastern Turkey on his ranch, There was a show on TV about it, put out by the NWTF. The man owns a big Chevy dealership.
