for jackrabbits. No, Sir, they don't like it one bit!!!!

On my way back from the morning's turkey hunting, a jackrabbit decided to hop across the field in front of me. A poor decision that won't be repeated :D

Anyway, in case anyone was wondering, the pointy 150gr. Rem factory ammo expands just fine on a south Texas jackrabbit.

Note to touchy environmental types: As responsible stewards of the earth, it was deemed wasteful to just toss this jackrabbit. So, we cut it up for bait and used it to catch catfish :p

Hard to say, since their eyes are on the opposite sides of their heads!

Not enough for the catfish to care, most likely :D

Hey MikeG... everything has a value when it comes to land management. A jackrabbit rates an "8". In otherwords, 8 jackrabbits eat what one cow does. What did you do with the other 7? Hope you didn't leave them out there!

I didn't know you were going to use that ammo I just thought those old boxes of ammo look cool. I've got some old western silvertip 270 that I display.

I answered another thread about the length of time that reloaded ammo would last. I guess like those 223's, keeping them stored in a damp place for 30 years doesn't help them much.
Oh well, it was the thought that counts ( unless a big buck is in front of you!)

Whoops! - didn't know those were heirlooms!

I've been given a bunch of other old .35 Rem ammo, in boxes just like that..... I'll display the box with pride, after I shoot up all the bullets :D

In the back of my mind, I knew you'd find a way to shoot them all!
Did you check out that moon Saturday night?
Would have been a good evening to call!

Yeah it was pretty bright. Didn't go out and call, probably should have. Would have been fun.....

I'm surprised the fur is still on the exterior of that critter after being hit with that .35!
