Yesterday,I was told that Hodgdon had bought the I.M.R powder line of products.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yep.
As I understand it, will continue to make and sell the tradtional powders and will still be marked IMM (at least for the time being).
See where the latest IMR 7828 is being advertised as "shortcut". Guess Hodgdon is having an effect on the IMR line.

'Tis true... and noting that the latest shipment of "IMR" powders: was delivered in brown plastic Hodgdon bottles...
JB and company are good people - this is actually probably good news for the IMR powder shooters.
do shoot straight,

Any chance of getting some data with that Trail Boss? Looks like it might be promising!

From Gunblast: http://www.gunblast.com/IMR_TrailBoss.htm
Trail Boss' unique shape and added bulk are apparent when compared to a powder such as Bullseye. On the left is 6.1 grains of Trail Boss, and on the right is 6.1 grains of Bullseye.
