I have a wonderful little BL22 that I learned to shoot with when I was five, and has been my tree rat gun ever since. After using different ghost ring and aperture style sights on different Marlin lever guns I have decided that my little BL is in sore need of some sort of reciever sight, be it a williams or whatever. What are my options with preference leaning towards the sight that will require the least permanent modification to the rifle? Anyone else out there own one of these sweet shooting little 22s?

Williams do one that fits the scope grooves. It's a sort of one size fits all arrangement and by some reports none too pretty when mounted. I guess the advantage is that you don't have to drill and tap the receiver. From memory it's an FP GR...none too trustworthy in the memory department though.
I like the BL22, would love to have one with the 24" octagon barrel but can't get one in Australia. The distributor only brings in the base model.
Edit: Checked the Brownells site - its the Williams FP-GR.
