How about the Winchester 94 BB chambered in .307?

Would have to look a bit...BELIEVE they were all angle ejects...the .375 was a bit earlier than the .307 version.
Remember the .375's as I was working the summer at a gun shop and remember unpacking the fist ones to hit this area....stock was "odd looking" (had a different shape) and that thick rear reciever...but they fliped them out of the top just like the 30-30's had done all along.
---------
While mentioning it, shortly after the first Big Bores, also got in a Savage 99 in .375W. and two Ruger #3's in .375W. Evidently, there was a lot of expectaion that round would be taking off big time....should have, but didn't.
The Savage 99 jsut didn't sell...nothing wrong with it, but at that time, it was not a hot selleer (and one of the reasons Savage dropped the 99....lot of people like them, too few bought them). Pretty much sold that gun at cost just to not have to sing "Happy Birthday" to it every inventory.

Spurgeon,
Here is a link first posted by Slim Iorg on an early Big Bore in .307:
http://shootersforum.com/attachment.htm?attachmentid=2217
It has the AE cutout in the reciever, and this looks like one of the early ones. It also has the humpbacked stock. It is the one feature I never cared for on these early ones, but probably good for a scope. Hope this helps. Chris

I was surprised to find out ,from The Blue Book, that Winchester 94 BB's .307's were made up to 1999. I thought originally that they were made from 1978-1983.
Actually, angle-eject .375s are rare birds. Almost all their production was top-eject, as the chambering was phased out right about when the angle-ejects came along.

Hey RSY,
Spurgeon was asking about the 307's in his latest question.....that picture would be an earlier 307 Winchester and is AE. When I say "Early one" I am only talking about the 307's, and that they would probably all by AE's.

Whoops...sorry RSY you were directing your post at someone else. I always speak too soon!
