Was just cleaning up some stuff in the reloading room and found an April 2002 Rifle mag. Opened it and the advertisement was for a Ruger Gold Label SxS shotgun. It has been in the gun rags for 3 years and few of us have yet to see one. I would like one but they are a little pricey for me right now. Just frustrating to see the ad and no gun, like the Winchester 480 Model 94.
Yeah, Ruger (love'um) is known for running ideas up the flag pole to see which way the public opinion blows long before actually bringing out the new product. Just don't want to stick their corporate money bags too far out in the stream without indicators of good returns, I guess.

I haven't seen any in stores, but did see a few at the Ruger booth during the SCI convention in 2004. Haven't heard from anyone that has one yet.

Gun Dealer in Wasilla Ak. has two, and Great Northern Guns in Anchorage Ak. has one. I believe they were all english stocked. The retail was supposed to be 1500.00, but one of the dealers was asking 2500.00 because he heard they were not going to make any more. Davidsons is a distributor in Arizona and does list them on the web site. I would rather have the pistol grip, and the Ruger Catalogue shows both along with custom engraved models. I think you will either love it or hate it.
