Load data for the 7mm Alpo is the same that of the 7mm Mauser that has the max. listed loads of 45,000 psi.. Do NOT use loads listed at 50,000 psi or higher as the Contender is not designed for those kind of pressures with the case head size of the 444 Marlin...

I just finished developing loads for the 7mm Alpo from a rechambered Super 14" Contender barrel set up as a carbine and so far, three Colorado elk have been taken with it shooting SPEER's 160 gr. Hot-Cor bullet...

I'll list the loads that we have for it when I get back to the shop on Monday and collect up my loading data....
