I was using Hodgdon H322 in my portable Lee set up, with the Lee powder dispenser. Flowed like water, never changed weight. Back at the fort here, using the RCBS stuff, with the Uniflow dispenser, they're catching/breaking and changing weight slightly.

Never noticed this before...just mentioning that some powder measures dispense differently than others.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

I use H322 in my OLD RCBS Uniflow and it works AOK.

Well, after chopping lots, which considering how small the pellets are is pretty amazing...I set up the Lee Dispenser, and have chopped only one in 230 rounds so far! What a difference, which I really don't understand at all. But it works.

I picked up my Pact powder dispenser today at Cabela's. Ran some IMR 3031 through on a trial basis just for kicks and giggles. it was great, took maybe 8 to 10 secoonds for it to run out about 30 grains came in within a tenth of a grain. I will report back with more detailed results as soon as I go make some empty brass

This just makes me wonder which powders I've eliminated from consideration due to chopping...perhaps it's merely a matter of the right powder dispenser! I've always liked both RCBS and Lee equipment, but may be retiring that RCBS Uniflow....
