i have an old jc higgins 12 ga. autoloader, built by high standard. i shoot trap with it, and i gave it to a gunsmith to tap it for chokes, but he could not remove the barrel as it is screwed in. i notice when i got it back, the wave washers in front of the gas block under the barrel were not as compressed as before, so i loosened them a little. second time out with it shooting some remington game loads, lots of fire out of the chamber and a broken off handle on the action bar. i usually shoot winchester AA's. i ordered a new action bar from numrich, but how do i adjust the gas bleed?
