This is a good way to use up excess burger...enjoy.

Ground Meat Summer Sausage


2 lbs ground wild game meat or very lean burger
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon mustard seed
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons liquid smoke
2 tablespoons Mortons TenderQuick Cure
1 teaspoon Cavenders Greek Seasoning (Optional)

- Combine all ingredients in bowl , shape into small loaves , cover with aluminum foil (shiny side out) Refrigerate overnight.
- Put on top of broiler pan , make opening in bottom of each foil loaf to allow juices to drain.
- Bake in 325 degree oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours. allow to cool - then slice.
